Feed My Starving Children Event
Three years ago, Norton City Schools partnered with Grace Church, Norton Police Department and other community organizations to set a goal of providing 1,000,000 meals to people in our local community, across our region, and around the world. We are in year three and will be hosting one final Feed My Starving Children Event across the district. This year, NES will be hosting the event.
We are proud to support this community initiative! This is a great serving opportunity for kids in grades kindergarten and older to be part of a large community effort to provide meals around the world! Be on the look out for information for this event happening September 27-28.

Interested in signing up for a "Blessing in a backpack"? Last year, area churches provided bags of food (snack items, peanut butter, mac-n-cheese and other items) to NES students on Fridays. Contact the NES office if you would like your child to receive one of these Blessings in a Backpack.

We roar. Together.
NES will be supporting the District theme of We Roar. Together. this year. We believe that it is crucial that our building embraces the theme and connects our students and families to the larger Norton School's community. We Roar. Together. emphasizes traits of strength and warmth. We want our students to demonstrate strength through building tolerance to difficult situations, learning to overcome challenges, and show grit and perseverance. We also want our students to understand the importance of warmth. Our building and school community will benefit if students show empathy, welcome teamwork, and work for the common good. Look for opportunities to have conversations with your child about strength and warmth this year.
