Dighton Elementary School
Eagles News. Soaring to Success!
Weekly Rewind: June 20th through June 22nd
As the school year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your partnership in your child's education. It has been an honor to work with your children and witness their growth and achievements. We hope that your child has had a wonderful year and has many fond memories of their time here at our school.
Today, on the last day of school, our students received a special treat, thanks to the generous donations of Tom and Jimmy's (Taunton), the Dighton Water Department, and Mrs. Lima. Each student received a free ice cream cone certificate, a bookmark with the school's characteristics, a color changing straw, and a beach ball. We hope these small tokens bring a smile to their faces and remind them of the fun times they had this year.
As we say goodbye for the summer, we want to encourage your child to continue learning and exploring. Reading, writing, and practicing math skills are great ways to keep their minds active during the break. Additionally, we encourage you to spend quality time together as a family and create new experiences and memories.
We want to express our sincere thanks to all of our volunteers, families, and community members who have supported our school throughout the year. Your dedication and involvement have made a significant impact on our students and their academic success.
We look forward to welcoming your children back in the Fall for another exciting school year. Until then, we wish you all a happy and healthy summer!
Sincerely,
DES Administration
