Dear Families,
This year we will experience many firsts at our new school. Last week we had our very first Back to School Night at our new campus. We were so excited to welcome parents and students to visit classrooms and meet our teachers! Thank you for the great turn out! We enjoyed spending the evening with you!
This week we are starting our RCR (Really Cool Recess) which is a structured recess for our 1st-6th grade students. Students can select different stations on the playground to play with directions on how to play posted next to the game activity. This week the students can choose to play the playground structures, swings, the par core course, jump ropes, hula hoops, play basketball, read a book in the reading area, Legos in the STEAM area, or draw in the art station. Activities will change a little each week, but students will be able to choose an area which is interesting for them.
Don't forget to update your information in Q Portal (important school information), upload Parent Square (for information from the school) and take the Family Culture and Safety Survey! (Links below)
