Last Week - Intro to Film Making
- How to "read" short films, from the viewpoint of a filmmaker.
- Basics of how scenes are constructed.
- Storyboards to develop stories as part of pre-production
- Creating their own 30 second to one minute videos.
Production, and post production basics will continue into the following weeks after spring break. The short videos will be shown in May along with a live performance they are working on in theatre.
Daily Schedule (subject to change for activities)
BE Staff is available 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Students on playground outside of those hours must be supervised by a parent.
8:30-9:00 - Attendance & Morning Meeting
9:00-10:15 - Group Work
10:15-11:30 - Group Work
11:30-12:00 - Recess & Lunch
12:00-1:15 - Attendance & Group Work
1:15-1:30 - Recess of Creative Play
1:30-2:40 - Exploratorium
2:40-3:00 - Presentations, Reflections & Feedback
3:00-3:30 - Cleaning & Closing Activity
For your child's safety, we have them remain upstairs reading until a parent arrives and signs them out.
As a reminder: all students need to bring a lunch and a snack. Due to severe peanut allergies, we ask that everyone please do not bring any nuts.
