TIGER VOLLEYBALL ADVANCES TO STATE TOURNAMENT
The Tiger volleyball team will make their seventh UIL State Tournament appearance this week after defeating Lake Travis 3-2 in the Region IV-6A Championship match on Saturday in San Antonio.
Dripping Springs faces The Woodlands in a state semifinal contest on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland. The winner advances to take on either Katy Tompkins or Keller in the championship match on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
The Tigers are 41-13 on the season, surpassing 40 wins for the sixth time in school history and first since 2019. Dripping Springs captured two state titles in 1994 and a 2015 season that included a school-record 51 wins. The Tigers have made six of their seven state appearances since 2013.

The Tigers are led offensively by senior Mackenzie Plante, a University of Tennessee commit, and freshman Henley Anderson, who have both registered over 500 kills this season.
State tournament tickets are on sale starting at $15 for single-day passes. The NFHS Network will provide live streaming of all semifinal and final matches (subscription required). Additional spectator information can be found here.

JROTC MILITARY CLUB PARTNERS WITH TOYS FOR TOTS
The DSHS JROTC Military Club is once again partnering with Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps to help raise toys and money for Austin children. All eight DSISD campuses are now serving as drop-off locations for new, unwrapped toys until Thursday, Dec. 1. In 2021, Dripping Springs donated a record 25 full boxes of toys to Austin kids.
Families can also donate directly, preferably to the Austin campaign so donations stay local and help kids in our area. Please contact lauren.milner@dsisdtx.us for more details.
