SJHS: What can we do...
1. Talk about College
: we don't know who will go to college (assumptions are not always accurate)
: how beneficial their degree will be by the date (2030?) they graduate
: what majors they will have by that date
2. ADOPT a College
_Decorate a wall, bulletin board, use your cabinets, door : to promote your one school
*this can be as much or as little as you choose*
We have a list of over 40 colleges to promote!
- They have been sending in info and materials to our students
-I have these items for you to help post/decorate!
_QR CODES: I have a QR code to post- the students can use it to easily access each College/Universities Web Site!
3. Change simple Classroom talk to College themed
2. Use your past experiences to relate to students
-your first job
- when you learned this topic
-when you learned this topic in college
-Your first job after college
3. Change Reward System:
- A, B, C, : change it to Bachelors/ Masters/ Ph. D
- Olympic themed Gold,Silver, Bronze: change it to B/Masters/Ph. D
