Cell phones
CELL PHONES & ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Technology integration is a focus on our campus, but we recognize that children need to be taught how to properly use it. Students may bring their devices to school each day as long as they are labeled with a first and last name. They will be required to lock them up in their teacher’s classroom until it is time to use them. Students are not to use them for non-academic reasons, and their use must be approved by a staff member. Students may not use their phones at dismissal while waiting for their bus or at parent pick-up.
Devices used for other purposes will be confiscated immediately and the following fees will be charged:
First offense: Student conference with administration and student may collect
Second offense: $15 fine and parent must pick up
Third offense: $15 fine and student is no longer permitted to have electronic in possession.
