Fall Fest
Information has been submitted for supplies and auction. If you missed the deadline, please let me know and I will email PTO to see if we can change our order.
Teachers staying to work Fall Fest can order a meal from Roadhouse (order form is on the flyer going home next week) and PTO will pay for it (hamburger, pork sandwich or salad). This will be just for staff so if you have family coming you will need to order for them and prepay or get Double Dave's rolls that night. If you have questions, let me know.
Rocco's Corner
If you are not circulating through all students and looking on their screens you do not know what you could be allowing. If you feel you cannot do this and supervise the physical activities going on during recess, do not allow for the devices.
The virtues of recess time come from students being able to exercise and play, not from device use. The majority of device violations that occur on this campus happen during recess when we are not looking. I know this from the photo and video evidence that I find in my investigations.
McDermott's Tech Tip
To switch quickly between extended displays and duplicate display press “windows and the P” at the same time.
Martin's World
Please allow students to go to GT during Success/Recess for extra time to work on their ongoing projects. If my room is too full because of a class or StuCo, I will send them back. Thanks!
Questioning
The question for the day is which option have you chosen for your 6-hour update? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rnN_KgbnL_b_9tMPW8-qzzAyk-8YrxEF99ej0In28Wg/edit
You can turn it in anytime. Danny Morchat is the winner for first turn in! He allowed extra freedom for his GT kids on a project. "I gave the freedom to a few, then the whole class wanted it." Danny said in his reflection, "Let Go! I'm learning to let go and just push kids to explore creativity!"
