Brownea macrophylla

In tropical moist forest it is very humid, and that's because it rains daily. These type of forest receive about 250 cm of rain per year. You'd find these forest closer to the equator. In just one month the forest can receive 4 inches of rain. The trees are so tall, and leaves so thick that the rain forest is adapted to receiving very little sunlight. It makes a canopy.
