Our families that have internet accessibility at home and are engaged in distance learning through a digital platform is over 98%. We are very pleased that so many of you have the ability to access your learning this way. It is our highest priority for us to continue to support your family's needs. I am encouraging teachers to solicit feedback from their students. I encourage you to let me know how we are doing, and how your student is doing.
If there are needs for school material or computers we are available by phone appointment to get items to you Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Call 746-8400. If there is no one that picks up the call 746-8409 and leave a voice message. This will send the message directly to my email and I will reach out to you to meet your needs.
Thank you for your patience, for your support, and for everyone's resilience through these difficult times.

A Message To Our Seniors and Their Families
It has taken me time to find the words to express to you how very sad I am for all of you. The traditions that we hold in such high value at Palmer High have been swept away by the pandemic.
One of the traditions we hold at the highest value is our graduation ceremony. I know when you learned that the ceremony would be a virtual graduation, it was hard to understand. It was a gutshot to the morale of you and your families. I am so sorry that this is how the culmination of 13 years of school is coming to.
We take pride in our graduation ceremony being at Palmer High School. We think its the best ceremony around! I want you to know that we will do our very best to make this, one and only Palmer High School virtual graduation, a great one!
I always knew the class of 2020 is made up of really remarkable and extraordinary students.
This is something we couldn’t have ever dreamed of. Not in our wildest dreams. In the last few years, we have all experienced some incredible events—these events in our lives, will be talked about for many generations to come.
I knew you were a special group of young adults, but I didn’t expect you to have a commencement of such extraordinary different proportions. Different than any other class to ever graduate from Palmer High. That is your silver lining, what sets you apart from all the rest.
A couple of good news items to share: Yearbooks are still being produced and will arrive around the same time as they usually do, in early May.
Your graduation announcements, cap and gowns, and other items ordered through Josten’s are arriving. We will publish a schedule for you to pick these items up, beginning the week of April 13th. We will create a schedule of curbside pick to decrease the number of students coming to school at the same time. We will share this schedule at the end of next week.
Thanks for your patience and resilience through these unprecedented times.
Mr. Reid
