Explanation Of The Act
The British made an act for colonists that would let them resist their internal taxes that they would pay inside the colonies. The result from this is that in 1767 when the Parliament passed the Townshend Acts to tax imports as in glass, tea, and paper. Later an when the goods arrived the tax was paid.
