Welcome back and we hope everyone had a Happy Holiday with your families! We are excited to announce that the 15 Smartboards we were able to buy with funds raised during our Boosterthon have arrived! Our technology department has worked hard to get them tagged and we have a training set up for our staff on Jan. 20th. We want to get these out in classrooms as soon as possible! We were able to put 2 in each grade level, one in the computer lab, and one for teachers to check out throughout the year. Our PTO Spring Fundraiser will also focus on raising funds to purchase more Smartboards with a goal of putting a Smartboard in every classroom!

We are so thankful to have a PTO who continues to support the goals we have for our campus and helps us bring new and exciting things to FCE! Last year they allotted a big chunk of funds to add two Gaga Ball Pits to our playground area. They arrived this week and many of our older students have already shared how much they love them! We are looking forward to finding some creative and fun ways to get parents and teachers involved in the Gaga Ball Fun!

The district sent out an email on December 31st regarding covid and our current district protocols. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out so we can get those questions answered for you. As always, the safety of our students continues to be a priority for us. We will be monitoring our campus numbers to make decisions about adjustments that may be needed to any events or programs we have planned, and to make decisions about visitors. We appreciate your continued help in keeping our students safe by continuing to keep your children home when they are not feeling well and also filling out the student self-reporting form when your child tests positive. Our staff will continue to provide work and support if/when your child needs to quarantine.
