What a WRAD-ical Week @ Our Library
Read Across Coopertown 2014
THE CELEBRATIONS
What Were We Celebrating?
Read Aloud. Change the World.
During the first week in March, Coopertown celebrated a combination of Read Across America & World Read Aloud Day (WRAD). We shared stories throughout our school AND with students in schools across the country.
"By raising our voices together on this day, we show the world's children that...they have the right to read, to write, and to share their words to change the world"
-LitWorld (www.litworld.org)

THE CONNECTIONS
During the first week of March, each Coopertown homeroom was set to share a story with students from schools both near and far. A snow day on Monday, didn't stop us from making some fabulous connections & meeting lots of new friends!
