How does minimum wage effect North Carolina?
How does minimum wage effect North Carolina's workers and the supply of products?
Minimum wage is the lowest amount an individual can be paid. If the minimum wage was increased then a lower waged worker's income would be increased. North Carolina's minimum wage is $7.25 and competes with other states because other states have a higher minimum wage. Minimum wage effects supply because if people do not agree with the amount that they are being paid then the supply will go down because there are no workers to create the products.
