May 13 - Kratzer Fair, Jaindl Jamboree, Ironton Spring Family Festival, Fogelsville Movie Night - families will celebrate with the PTO at these end-of-the-year family events!
May 14 - PHS Music Boosters Giant Yard Sale, PHS Parking Lot.
May 15, Leo Club Duck Race, Covered Bridge Park, 1 PM. This year's proceeds will benefit Angel 34, a local charity that supports Lehigh Valley families with children who are battling cancer. Winners do not need to be present at the but feel free to come out to witness the craziness. The cost of each duck is $10 (cash or check made payable to Parkland High School) and there will be four cash prizes awarded.
May 18 - Cetronia Elem Dorney Park FunFest! 5-8 PM.
May 19 -21 Festival of the Arts
Thurs - Art Show 6:00 - 8:00 PM (Art Rooms) Chorus Concert 7:00 PM, PHS Auditorium
Fri - Parkland's Got Talent 7:00 PM (Auditorium)
Sat - Festival of the Arts on the Quad 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

May 25 - Parkland High School Athletic Award and Hall of Fame Ceremony, 5:00 PM, PHS Auditorium.

SMS Wins Outstanding School in the HISTORY DAY Junior Division, Sends 3 to National Competition out of 18 Possible Spots in PA State Competition
The following SMS students placed at the State History Day competition. The top two finishers will now advance to the National Contest.

Springhouse Middle School was also awarded the Outstanding School in the Junior Division prize. There are only 18 spots for students in the division to move onto the national contest. Having students from Springhouse claim three of those spots is a testament to the hard work and dedication that these students put in.
The following Parkway Manor students' Haiku poems have been selected and will be published in a book that features today's best student writers. Thanks to their
fifth gradeteacher, Mrs. DiPasquale, for encouraging them to do so after teaching poetry and Mrs. Hamilton,
