SARS is another word for pneumonia. The cause of this disease is by viruses that was identified in 2003. The infection causes acute respiratory distress (several breathing difficulties) and some deaths. Also caused by members of the coronavirus family of viruses. Some with the infection that either coughs are sneezes the infection drops causing it to spread. People that are at high risk with the infection are the elderly people, people with weak immune system, those with underlining chronic disease and people with diabetes or hepititis.The pathophysiology of SARS is spread by respitory droplets. 2-7 days asymptotic inclubation period. Dry coughs, progressive hypoxia, and respitory failure.

An antiviral medicine. The complication of this disease is the breathing problem can get so sever to were you are going to need medical respitory.
