Principal's News
We are living in a time of uncertainty and a time where no one really knows exactly what lays ahead. This can cause angst and stress for many, not least of all our children. With the endless media coverage, the displays of panic buying and disturbing images being streamed across the world our children are looking and learning.
Now more than ever is our opportunity to teach our children how to respond to life's challenges, how to respond in times of adversity and the unknown. We can show our children compassion and care in action, we can share times of prayer and meditation as families, we can choose to remember all the things we have to be grateful for.
We will continue to action calm and proactive approaches to the COVID-19 pandemic for our community and assist our students and families to navigate through these uncharted waters. Thank you to all of our parents who are in the front line currently, medical, service and support workers. We appreciate your work, we are grateful for your work and we pray God's blessing on you and your families.

COVID-19 - Updates
The College will continue to communicate with families via email and Parent Lounge with an SMS notification in relation to COVID-19 and any impact on the College.
We are committed to maintaining the safety for all students and staff as best we can. This is the reason we have postponed all events and activities including school tours for the remainder of this term (and beyond if necessary) and implemented the other strategies shared through our communications.
We thank our families for their support of our actions as we work together to keep our community safe and supported.
Deutschfest 2020 - CANCELLED
It is with sadness that we share with you that the decision has been made to cancel Deutschfest 2020.
Many thanks to the committed team of parents and staff who have been working so hard behind the scenes since last year to make this years day a great one. We appreciate your time and effort towards this much loved event on our community calendar.
Inquiry into IB
At the heart of the International Baccalaureate PYP is international mindedness - the idea that we see ourselves connected to the global community and have a responsibility to support its members. In the primary school this can look like examining issues of social justice, the environment, or developing our idea of community. In Year 3/4 students have been inquiring into what makes a community and have created a fantastic jigsaw art piece, found on the Hawthorn building. This art demonstrates students understating the while we are all different we are also connected and share a responsibility to care for each other. A worthwhile message in these uncertain times, well done to our amazing 3/4

Success Air Rifle Shooting
The front cover of the Victorian Pistol Association says it all! Talia managed to defend her Junior Women State Titles from last year and in doing so put up a score solid enough to rank 2nd outright for State Women.
Talia stuck to her game plan in the final having a total of 24 shots, 4 only were not inside the 9 ring, few in this country at this time can go close to that. The further the event went on the better Talia was, in the end eliminating all to claim a win and now a 4th State title. Talia also currently holds the SA Junior Women State Title, SA Women State title, SA Women Air Finals record, Vic Junior Women State title, Vic Junior Air Record holder and also Vic Women Title holder. Not bad for a 14 year old with less than 2 years in the sport. Congratulations to all our Trinity shooters on the day, including Imogen, Lincoln and Aadyn.
