Happy Teacher Appreciation Week: You are a Star

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. I want to tell each one of you that I appreciate all that you do for our students. Each individual at Nesbit plays a vital role in the success of our students. Mr. Wilbanks always says, "Two types of people work in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) those who teach and those who support teachers". I am proud to be a GCPS employee that supports teachers. I appreciate you all, whether you support teachers or you teach, you are important and I value your hard work.

Star Teacher

You are so classy and
Your teaching helps us see,
That to have a happy life,
Learning is the key.

You understand your students:
You're sensitive and smart.
You're a skillful teacher;
We knew it from the start.

We’re grateful for your wisdom
For the teacher that you are;
You're a very good person,
And as a teacher, you're a star!

Thank you from,

Dr. Myers
