Message From the Principal: Dr. Bradley
Greetings, Pfaff Families,
Hello and welcome spring!
We are looking forward to longer daylight and consistent sunshine this spring!
Report Card time is now upon us as the trimester ends today. QCSD has partnered with LinkIt! to allow families and teachers to access students' data quickly and easily. You can go to LinkIt to see your child's report card and assessment data (including PSSA results). Report cards will be available to view in the next couple of weeks. Last year's PSSA data will be available also for students in 4th and 5th grades. If you would like a paper copy of your child's PSSA results, please contact your child's teacher accordingly.
We are gearing up for the PSSAs that will take place in April and May this year. Please note that trips will not be approved for students in grades 3, 4, & 5 if the dates fall on PSSA testing dates (see the calendar above).
Our amazing PTO has purchased indoor recess games/activities for classrooms so our children can enjoy them when weather doesn't permit them to go outside. I'd like to take a moment to remind families of a few things that will help us keep children safe and happy during outdoor recess:
- Students should wear sneakers and clothing that is conducive for play outside
- Students should not bring items from home such as toys, Pokemon cards, and other trinkets as recess equipment is available at school
- Games that involve physical contact are discouraged (including tag and Jackpot) as the physical contact has resulted in injury and student conflict
- Students should seek out an adult if they need help navigating a challenging social situation.
Finally, please join me in welcoming a new face to Pfaff. I am excited to introduce the new Assistant Principal at Pfaff Elementary! She is in our building on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please take a moment to read the message from Ms. Maddon below to learn more about her. She has already become an asset to our school.
Your partner in education,
Dr. Orathia Bradley
Pfaff Proud Principal

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED PRE-K COUNTS?
Bucks County has seven Pre-K Counts grants from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The grants allow families, who meet the required criteria, with children (who are 3 or 4 years old by September 1st) to enroll in an approved high quality, preschool program at no cost to the family. There may be a few openings now, and they are taking applications now for 2022-2023!
Please see the Bucks County Pre-K Counts application for the 2022-2023 school year.
