Students were able to take an IQ test, learn what society and researchers state about their score and its meaning in regards to their personality and intelligence level, and then provided a personal elaboration on whether or not their score truly represents their ability to learn! Does Charlie’s mental challenges from the Unit Text “Flower’s for Algernon” determines if Charlie has the ability to be successful or does it hinder his motivation to learn? Students were able to get a firsthand experience in order to help produce a strong claim for their upcoming culminating writing task!
