The Cedar Ridge Weekly
April 25, 2021
Message from Dr. Ramirez
Hello Cedar Ridge Students and Families,
29! Only 29 instructional days are left in the school year. Take out the testing days, we even has fewer. Because we are still required to give all of the tests we give in a normal year, we will be doing some form of testing from now until June 4, the last day of school. We expect to pull teachers to assist with the various tests, due to Covid-19 safety protocols. As a result, some teachers will be posting their lessons asynchronously. Affected teachers will inform their students.
Graduation plans are in full swing. We will be holding an outdoor, in-person ceremony on our stadium field on the evening of Friday, June 11, from 6:00 to 8:30. We are allowing 4 guest per student, not including the student. Governor Cooper's present Executive Order expires on June 1st. If there are changes to the current rules, OCS leadership will reevaluate the present graduation plans and may make adjustments. Make sure to see the video about the latest graduation planning news.
I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable week.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ramirez
