Now accepting volunteer applications
Volunteers are essential partners in the success of our schools, and we truly appreciate their gifts of time and talent that fuel so many wonderful opportunities for our students. Individuals from throughout our community serve in variety of volunteer positions.
All volunteers must have a yearly application and background check on file with the district office prior to service in our schools.
Clearance is on a one-year basis, and all volunteers must re-apply each school year. The beginning of the school year is an excellent time to complete the process, so that you can be ready to volunteer in the schools or chaperone a field trip.
The application link can be found here
The online application may be accessed from your home computer at any time. You also are welcome to contact the ASD District Office for assistance with the process, including help for anyone without a home computer to complete the application.
For more information, please contact the ASD District Office at (360) 503-1200, or email to anacortesvolunteer@asd103.org.

Did you know that the Anacortes School District has 26 individual robotics teams that operate each year? There are also 4 levels of robotics in our district that serve students from as young as kindergarten all the way through high school. The Anacortes Robotics Booster is supporting the fundraising process for all the teams that work with kids, grades K-12. The annual budget for this major undertaking runs an average of $56,000 a year that is not funded through district money. This is possible because of partnerships with local businesses and generous donations from our community. October 26th is a dinner fundraiser. This is an adult only costume party with dinner and both a live and silent auction. Please consider buying a ticket, or even a table! Tickets are available at Watermark Books, and online at: http://charityauction.bid/ghoulsandgearsgala.
