Taco Bell Spirit Night

Tuesday, Sep. 20th, 4pm

226 Sea Island Parkway

Beaufort, SC

Join us for our very first Restaurant Sprit Night for the 2022-2023 school year! It is Taco Tuesday at Taco Bell on Lady's Island. Any food/drink purchases from 4:00-7:00 on Tuesday, September 20 will earn money for our school. Members of our staff will be there to see you from 4:30-6:30 to say hi...stop in and see us!

School Improvement Council Member Nominations

ALL parents are encouraged to attend School Improvement Council Meetings to provide valuable insight and perspective to our school leadership team about topics that affect your children. The council meets at school once a month for 60 minutes. Our next meeting is October 13th.

Our SIC bi-laws require THREE elected members to serve on our SIC along with THREE elected teachers and THREE appointed community members. These elected members can vote on topics that affect school improvement. If you would like to nominate yourself to serve as an official SIC member, please complete the survey linked below. Nominations are due by September 23. Elections will take place the week of September 26th.

Did you know you can access your child's grades at any time?

First quarter progress reports were sent home on Friday in your child's red folder. Along with this report, you received directions for signing up for the PowerSchool Parent Portal. By signing up, you can check your child's grades, attendance, etc. Please reach out to Ms. Johnson at regina.johnson@beaufort.k12.sc.us if you have any questions.

Your child has worked hard over the first four weeks to complete various assessments in order to help us determine how to best meet their academic needs. On Friday, September 15 your child brought home the following in their red folder along with their 1st quarter progress report:


  • Measures of Academic Progress Scores for Math (K-5) and Reading (2-5)
  • iReady Diagnostic Scores for Math (K-5) and Reading (K-5)
  • SC Ready & SC PASS Scores for Math (4-5), ELA (4-5), and science (5)
