Report Cards - Out Today!

Report cards for students in grades K-1 will go home via backpack mail today. Report cards for students in grades 2-8 will be available on the FACTS Family Portal by 3:00 pm today.

...and GIVE YOU DID!

The Giving Tuesday fundraising event was tremendous! It was thrilling to watch the canisters fill with donations from the amazing students, families, and Faculty/Staff of BJAMS!

The anticipation to find out which grade lead the pack in donations was palpable...

Mrs. Rapoport's 5th Grade Class - they get a Dress Down WEEK - Dec 6-10! Mrs. Rapoport's class raised a whopping $1530.92!!

Our students, families, and friends raised just over $9600 to improve our playground! BJAMS rocks!

COVID 19 Vaccine Attestation

Once your student receives his/her second Pfizer dose, please be sure to complete the attestation, found at the end of Friday Notes. Thank you!

BJAMS Lights Up the Night - help needed!

BJAMS LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT: Saturday, December 18 at 6:30 pm

But first...we need your help!

The PTO will be decorating the outside of the school on two Sunday afternoons, gathering on Sunday, December 5 at 1:00 pm and Sunday, December 12 at 1:00 pm to decorate the school. We hope you can lend a hand - bring a ladder if you have one! Additionally, the PTO is still in need of more donations of outdoor Christmas lights, especially those that are solar.

The PTO is also looking to borrow a generator - please let Rachael Grant or Michelle Tomlinson know if you have a connection! We would need the generator on December 18 in the early afternoon.

Breakfast and Lunch Menus

As you may be aware, food suppliers are having difficulty fulfilling orders and this sometimes impacts our school. Please understand that we are working as hard as we can to publish menus in a timely manner, but we must wait to confirm availability of our orders before we can complete our menus. Also we may be notified of order substitutions, which could alter a menu offering we have published. We ask for your patience and understanding, as these are out of our control.

Faculty and Staff: A December to Remember!

During the month of December, the faculty and staff will be observing themes each day. For example, this week, we observed Red and Green Day, Jeans and Sneakers Day, and Flannel Friday! We are asking students to guess the theme, based on their observations! Students will join in the themes the week of December 20 - keep your eyes on Friday Notes to see what the themes will be!

PTO Meeting Cancelled

Please be advised that the PTO Meeting scheduled for Monday, Dec. 6 has been cancelled.

Catching Up

We had to skip Friday Notes due to the holiday last week, but that doesn't mean we can't post a few pictures you otherwise would have missed! Here a few from 2nd grade.

ASP Corner

If you haven't done so yet, please remember to register your student(s) for December.

Thank you, Morrisville Rotary Club

This past year our After School Program was awarded a literacy grant through the Morrisville Rotary Club that enable us to purchase a mobile library cart. It is stocked with many books including some about various holidays, seasons of the year and current events.

On the first Friday of each month, we will invite a mystery reader from the Morrisville Rotary to join us to read a book or short story that resonates with something from that month. Afterwards, students will have the opportunity to engage in group conversation with each other and their mystery reader.

We are so excited to welcome the Morrisville Rotary Club into our BJAMS family and we are incredibly blessed by their generosity!
