Tim Burners-Lee invented the World Wide Web and although he could have made millions out of the World Wide Web but he did not he gave us his amazing invention for no charge at all. Tim Burners-Lee invented the HTML the code which allows you to find web pages on the internet he also helped to invent URL which means Universal Resource Locators. He is a genious who created one of the most used inventions in the world one amaizing invention we now all take for granted.
Tim Burners-Lee was born in London and graduated in Physics from oxford university in 1976 and is now the director of the World Wide Web Consortium which is the group that sets the standerds for the World Wide Web.
