Principal's Message

Dear Ride Families,

Our 3rd and 4th graders took the STAAR Test this week in Math and Reading. We are so excited about how they used their character trait of "Self-control" to use time wisely, and concentrate on important tasks. We told them that this is our favorite day because they get to show what they have learned.

I would also like to express our gratitude to the younger grades (PK - 2nd) for the way they were respectful in the hallways, switched enrichment time and recess times to accommodate our 3rd and 4th graders taking the STAAR test. They were real team players in giving 3rd and 4th grade the best opportunity to focus and concentrate on their test.

Please join us in our annual tradition of "Rainbow Week" to bring the school community together for the last full week of school.

Have a great weekend!!

Megan Burnham

Lost and Found Jackets!!

IT'S NOT TOO LATE! PLEASE CHECK THE FENCE FOR ANY LOST JACKETS! Due to the pandemic, we have not had a lost and found. However, we have had an abundance of lost jackets! We have placed them on the fence in front of the school. Please check the fence if your child is missing a jacket before the end of the year!

Update: Pre-K has added jackets to the fence! Please take a look if you are missing a jacket!!

Mask Update: Effective June 1

Masks will be recommended, but optional, for students and staff* in Conroe ISD facilities starting on June 1st. The District will continue to monitor the presence of COVID-19 in the community, the county vaccination rate, and the guidance from public health officials. If conditions remain stable or improve throughout the summer, we look forward to masks also being optional for the 2021-2022 school year. The District’s safety protocols will continue to be based on the most updated information to provide safe and healthy learning environments for our students and keep our schools open.

COVID Tracing

There are likely many opportunities for students to gather outside of school with friends and loved ones. During this time, please express to your child the importance of taking precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing masks, frequently washing hands, and social distancing. We all must work together as partners to balance the need for social interaction and celebration with keeping our schools open to in-person learning. Our partnership is critical in order to keep students and staff safe and in school throughout the holiday season. Should your child test positive for COVID-19, we ask that you email your child’s campus at contactride@conroeisd.net so we can provide the appropriate support and make the required notifications. Thank you.
