Cell Organelles
Plant VS. Animal
By Josh G., Brenden, and Diego
Plant Cells
The plant cell is shaped like a rectangle. Its organelles are the nucleus, chloroplasts, cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi body, vacuole, ribosomes, and mitochondria. These cells have green organelles called chloroplasts, which make the plant green.
Animal Cells
The animal cell is shaped like a sphere. Its organelles are the cell membrane, lysosomes, vacuole, mitochondrion, cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, nucleus, and golgi body.
Similarities and Differences
Plant cells have a cell wall, chloroplasts, and one big vacuole. Animal cells have many vacuoles and lysosomes. Otherwise, both of these cells share the same organelles.
