Award-Winning Books in the Gibbes Learning Commons / Media Center!

We've got 'em! And many more. The three books pictured above are just a few samples. And they often relate to our standards, too, so if you see that a student really enjoys a particular curriculum topic, send him or her to me to find a new book to get lost in.

Not just fiction, either. If you haven't read current adolescent and children's nonfiction, you don't know what you're missing.

Did Your Students Make Books?

Print and digital books made by students and staff are invited for the last VLF contest of this year. The deadline to enter is March 25 . Awards on April 27. See Mrs. Shier for more information, or visit the district's VLF website .
