We've got 'em! And many more. The three books pictured above are just a few samples. And they often relate to our standards, too, so if you see that a student really enjoys a particular curriculum topic, send him or her to me to find a new book to get lost in.
Not just fiction, either. If you haven't read current adolescent and children's nonfiction, you don't know what you're missing.

Print and digital books made by students and staff are invited for the last VLF contest of this year. The deadline to enter is March 25 . Awards on April 27. Gibbes E-Books
We have e-books! We'll buy more next year when students have laptops for reading them. To access, log in to the Destiny Library Catalog to access the district collection of electronic books. From the Heyward Gibbes home page, go to “Media Center” and scroll down to "Resources." Click on the link called "Destiny Online Catalog." Log in using your network user name and password. Use the drop-down arrow to change the material type to Electronic Book. Click in the box after the word Find and press Enter to see all available eBooks!
