Parent Edition

Mission Statement

Northwood Elementary School will provide higher-level learning opportunities for all students to maximize their potential in a safe, nurturing, respectful, and diverse environment.

LEARNING IN ACTION

North Playground

The playground has been completed but CANNOT be used until lunchtime on TUESDAY. This is per the contractors. Please continue to keep all children off of the playground until that time. The North playground is reserved by Latch Key after school. Adult supervision is required on both playgrounds if used before and after school. THANK YOU!

Parking Lot

Sergeant Al Carter sent me an email letting me know that the police will have cars at drop off and pick up when available.

Reminders:

The number one priority is STUDENT SAFETY.

*Please make sure at morning drop off you drop students off and leave the drop off lane. Do not wait in the drop off lane and watch as students enter.

*Never double park and allow students to walk through traffic. This is very dangerous.

*Do not back up in the drop off lane. Students may be behind you. Wait until it is clear and pull forward.

*Do not use the South Parking lot. This is the staff lot. Do not pull into this lot and do not park and wait in this lot to drop off or pick up.

*Do continue to be polite to all the adults.

*Thank you to all of the parents that follow the guidelines that keep students dafe each day.

*Continue to drive SLOWLY.

THANK YOU!

Early Release Forms

The recent loss of power was a reminder that all Early Release Forms should be updated if you need to add or delete names. When we lose power we do not have access to email and if we leave the site we will only be able to release to those individuals named on the form. This is not the same as the Student Information Sheet used daily. Please submit a new form if you need to add or delete names. Thank you.
Early Release Form

Complete and return to the main office if you need to make changes. Thank you.
