A Message from Principal Johnson
Thank you to our teachers and students!
Learning has been SO different this year with all of our COVID precautions and livestreaming of classroom instruction for students needing to stay at home. While there is a LOT that is missed when not in the classroom (i.e. hands-on activities, 1:1 support, interactions with others, etc.) our teachers and students have been doing the best they can to include students at home. In pictures below you will see some examples of students joining in on small group labs watching through BlueJeans or a student presenting in class, with his partner screensharing her presentation for the class from home, still able to present for the class.
Blended Learning at Home
Thank you for having your child staying home if you are sick or have possible COVID-19 symptoms. This helps prevent the spread within our building.
Please know that attendance still matters and your child must login to bluejeans for each of their classes in order to be marked as present (PR-OL in Powerschool stands for Present Online). Unless we know of a reason for your child to not be logging in online, those absences will turn into unexcused absences, and possibly marked as truant.
Students must be engaged in learning on BlueJeans. If it seems they have logged on, but aren't really there (i.e. don't respond to a teacher when their name is called or disappear after attendance was taken) they will be marked absent.
We want to keep students in their school routine and to continue learning despite the circumstances. We won't let COVID stop our learning!

A Message for our Juniors
It is time to consider doing a youth apprenticeship either next semester or next year. This is a great way to get a high paying job, build your skills and resume all while you are still in high school. Also, during your meetings with Mr. Dunn, you will be given the chance to sign up for virtual job shadows. If there is a job you want more information about and it is not an option on the virtual page you can email Mr. Jacquart at jacquart@dodgeland.k12.wi.us and he will work on it for you.
This link is about youth apprenticeship.
Just a reminder - NO Classes next week Nov - 23 - 27!
