Being safe online
We have watched many short videos (age appropriate) on being safe on the internet and for older students we learned about oversharing on social medial. One video we watched was The Power of Words, how texting or gaming messages to others can be misinterpreted and might hurt the others feelings, and 6 degrees of information, I have the links below.
I am surprised how many students are on social medial such as Snap Chat, Instagram and Facebook. I strongly encourage you to monitor their accounts to see what they are posting or sharing and who they share with.

Great Site
We have watched short videos on internet safety and digital citizenship. This is a great site for you to watch/learn with your child on internet safety and the dangers of "over-sharing" on social media
