Staff Newsletter- Week of November 7th

Tipton's Tidbits

We are almost to Thanksgiving and Christmas! You all have done a great job with balancing a hectic schedule and I am so thankful to have tremendous and gifted teachers in our classrooms! Make sure you look at the schedule that counselors sent out for Monday and Tuesday during the day for course selection sheets. I know it is early, but we have tried to get ahead of the game for our Cubs and for staffing. PLEASE make sure you get your money to Barnes or Arnold to help for Veterans Day breakfast on Friday. We will announce the kids wearing red, white, or blue. Remember Veterans Day assembly is Friday, November 11 at 9 a.m. We will call by grade level and make sure you walk your students down and sit with them. Thank you so much for all you do... Thanksgiving in one more week!

Respect Character Perseverance

A little note from your AP's!

Can you believe that the second grading period is over?? 33% of the school year is completed! Grades are due on Monday at 4pm so please make sure those are turned in to the wonderful Mrs. Amanda Jordan at that time.

It has, without a doubt, been so much fun being in your classrooms so much the last two grading periods! The lessons that you all design for the students are beyond amazing and we are truly BLESSED! Some of you have already completed the formal Observation piece of T-TESS and have hopefully been reaffirmed that it is a great process to identify strengths and areas of growth to be continually working on. And hopefully, it has made you feel at ease!! The conversations that I have been able to have with teachers because of this process has truly grown me as an AP, so thanks for not only teaching the kids but teaching us as well!!

It is already time to begin thinking about next year....for the kids that is! The High School counselors will be here on Monday during 2nd period to go over course selections for next year with the 8th grade students. Lindsey and Tonya will be talking to 6th grade during 6th period on Tuesday and 7th grade during 6th period on Wednesday. If you see Lindsey and Tonya, make sure you give them an extra pat on the back for getting everything ready to go for schedule selections this early!
