Morning Message
Happy Mindset Monday!
Here is a quote to start your week... “It doesn’t matter how slow you go, as long as you don’t give up.” This reminds me of the tortoise in The Tortoise and the Hare, but it also reminds me of myself when I ran my first race or when I learned how to knit.
What have you done that seemed to take a long time to learn or do but you didn’t give up? Keep this quote in the back of your mind for when something might feel tough!
Science and English-Language Arts (ELA)

Now it's time to decide: If you have a notebook or paper, you should set it up in the ways that video showed you.
If you enjoy working on the comptuer, you only create the slideshow ONE TIME and use the same slideshow all week. You can also choose to print the slides in full page mode if it's easier for you [you do NOT have to print them].
This week you have a poem/song/rap to try!

IT'S BRAIN BREAK TIME!!!
For Adults - A Note on Fluency with Facts
The standards intentionally distinguish between asking for fluency with multiplication and division and asking students to know from memory multiplication facts. Fluency means students are fast, accurate, flexible, and have understanding. They use strategies efficiently.
By the end of grade 3, students have sufficient experience with these strategies to know from memory all single-digit products.
The button below links to an article titled "Fluency Without Fear."
