Transportation Requests

You will find the link for the request form below as well as "the Sanger ISD website. Go to "For Employees and click on "Field Trip Procedures/For Employees". The procedures are there for scheduling and preparing for a Field Trip as well as rules we need to follow while on Field Trips. With Covid comes a whole new set of rules including assigned seating and wearing face coverings on the bus at all times. All teachers, coaches etc who are in charge of the field trips should go to the website and read these pages. There is also a PDF of a seating chart so the sponsor can assign seats before the trip.

The On Line Transportation Request is available Here

Employee Access Information

Below is the link & steps to create an account.

Choose New User and enter your information and password that you would like.

You are encouraged to bookmark this link so you will have it each month or when needed & to also write down your username & password in a safe place. We can reset your account if you get locked out after 3 unsuccessful login attempts but our response time could be delayed if it's over a weekend or holiday & you would start the New User process over. It's Time! Indian Walks - October 13th

  • 6 writing samples aligned with the standard from diverse learners
  • No names; hung outside the classroom door
  • All Teachers Participate (Core, Electives, Fine Arts, CTE)

Excited to share Indian Walks with a few of our district administrators!

UIL Participants - Meeting Eligibility

ALL UIL participants (sports, band, academic, FFA, bass fishing, etc) MUST be passing at the 6-week mark (October 2nd) in order to meet UIL eligibility. It is vital grades are entered in a timely manner so students have every possible chance to be passing at the 6-week mark by making corrections, retesting, etc.

I will be monitoring this very closely each week by watching your grade postings, missing assignments, and student averages.

Nuts and Bolts

  • Postcards - Join me in writing postcards to our online learners! It is important to do our best to keep them involved and apart of SHS.

  • Indian Walks - Are you writing in class? Indian Walks are in the works. I will share the date soon...Indian Walks will likely take place during week eight!

  • Tribal Cards - You should have received a stack of Tribal Cards in your mailboxes. These cards are for those students who demonstrate responsibility, safety, and/or are respectful. Please have them turn in their Tribal Cards to the office for a drawing.

"This year we're all 1st yr teachers. So remember 3 things...

1. No one has taught in the environment in which you are now teaching.

2. This year bad instruction is better than no instruction.

3. Criticism from anyone who isn’t willing to teach, right now, isn’t worth listening to."

~ Sean Cain, @LYSNation
