Plan for Safe Return to In-Person Instruction
The Kenton County School District has updated our
2021-22 Plan for Safe Return to In-Person instruction. We encourage all stakeholders to review this plan. The District is now recommending that ALL persons, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks while inside our facilities.
Celebrating 100 years of KCSD Transportation
The Kenton County School District is celebrating 100 years of transportation! We held a special presentation on Tuesday, Aug. 3 with all of our Transportation staff to celebrate this important milestone. Several former superintendents and directors of transportation were in attendance, as well as two bus drivers who had over 50 years of service with the Kenton County School District.

Sherry Eagler, Pauline Brownfield receive Transportation Awards
Assistant Director of Transportation Sherry Eagler received the Richard Eubands Innovative Spirit Award and Bus Driver Pauline Brownfield received the Hobart Smith Pioneering Spirit Award.
Honoring our retirees!
Wednesday, August 4 was a special day in the Kenton County School District as we honored our 2021 retirees. The retirees were treated to special breakfast and received an appreciation gift.
Welcome, New Teachers!
About 80 new teachers attended New Teacher Orientation on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at Summit View Academy. Welcome to Team Kenton! We are excited for a great school year!
Team Kenton holds our first EdCamp!
On Wednesday, August 4, the Kenton County School District held its first Team Kenton EdCamp! It was a wonderful day of learning, planning and collaboration between members of Team Kenton. Thank you to Scott High School for hosting EdCamp, and to our EdCamp Planning Committee for putting together this special event!

Carolyn Stewart and Charlie Phillips receive awards from KYASRO
Congratulations to Carolyn Stewart from Scott High School and Officer Charlie Phillips from Woodland Middle School for receiving awards from the Kentucky Association of School Resource Officers.
Officer Phillips, who is the SRO at Woodland, received the Kentucky School Resource Officer of the Year Award.
Mrs. Stewart, the principal at Scott High School, received an Award of Merit.

Mrs. Holloway has traveled to 13 different countries! She is a graduate of Space Camp and she once met Bill Nye the Science Guy at a book signing.
