Welcome Back!
Ya'll are the best faculty! Thank you for listening to me at in-service and participating in everything that we did with a great attitude! As you start the year remember relationship, relationship, relationship! Have fun, be real and enjoy your kids! Take the time to put in place the expectations and procedures that will make your year fantastic! Don't forget to communicate with your parents from the beginning and answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner! I promise that you will never have a problem from a parent that respects you and feels that you have their child's best interest at heart even if it is bad news.
We will continue our learning in the area of social-emotional skills and I think we will see a huge difference in our students' abilities to handle their emotions which will be reflected in their learning! Stay tuned for more information from our counselors as to what we will be talking about with our kids!
To a great new year!
Cindy

This year we will address Social Emotional Learning with our students as well as staff! I think we are going to learn new ways to handle our emotions and in the process help teach our students ways to deal with their own thoughts and feelings!
Emotions Scavenger Hunt - great to use in the classroom!
Anger Catcher - I am putting one in your box for reference but I think this would be a good tool for teaching our students what to do when they are angry! Below is the link to get more information and to print out one yourself!
Don't forget to join the Bailey Station PTA - you can join online!
Welcome Back Video for Curriculum Night!
If you have a moment please watch the video below on ADHD and understanding exactly what is going on for those students who will come in your classroom with ADHD! Thanks Toni Pugh!

a ** by a change as a reminder. I know that some of you do work before school and try to plan accordingly with the calendar given, but I cannot guarantee that there will not be changes so you will need to be flexible with that.
