National School Breakfast Week
“Take Time for Breakfast”
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because breakfast provides the fuel a child needs to start their day of learning at school. The cafeteria staff will be celebrating National School Breakfast Week in the cafeteria March 3-7. We invite all students to choose school breakfast and join in the activities we will be doing during the week. School Breakfast can be a real time saver for families who have a busy morning at home.
The components of the breakfast we offer meet the dietary guidelines and provide your child with the nutrients they need to start their day. Students eating school breakfast will have the opportunity to join our poster contest and draw a picture of “What do you like best about breakfast”. Fun things will be going on the week of March 3-7 during breakfast. Details are available during breakfast in the cafeteria.
