Growing Student Language in Math

The mathematical practice standards expect students to "construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others." In this one day workshop you will leave equipped with resources and strategies to support math discourse for ALL students.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will engage in strategies to support the Math language development (oral and written).
- Participants will develop supports, scaffolds, and implementation plans to grow student languages in Math class.
This workshop is offered exclusively to those districts participating in CESA 10’s Title II Services including: Abbotsford, Altoona, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.
