Student Spotlight - Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson is a learner of life. He does the normal academic thing just like everybody else, however, he likes to learn by doing!!! He has created all of his elective courses for his High school curriculum. He has done Marine Science 1 and 2 Freshwater fish and Saltwater fish. He built tanks, filtration systems, furniture bases to hold the tanks and studied the aquatic and plant life for each Eco System. Each of these life learning experiences is proudly displayed in their home. Tyler is doing a self-made Construction course and is reading and studying the elements of building structures. He is working on a Gazebo for his mom! So cool. He is also currently studying plumbing and water treatment. To add icing to his learning style, Tyler is very active in leadership and ministering at his church. I feel honored to be his HST and support him on his amazing educational journey.

8th Graders Were Blessed with a Free Trip to See Hamilton

Marcia Maunder, a teacher in the Monterey area, coordinated a trip to Hamilton. A foundation generously donated money for ALL 8th-grade students in the Monterey/San Benito region to attend for FREE.

Central Valley Homeschool Convention

Inspire will be at the Central Valley Homeschool Convention on July 9 and 10 in Clovis, CA. You can use your instructional funds to attend the conference. Enter them in the Enrichment Ordering System. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow as a homeschool parent, learn, be inspired and encouraged. It is also a chance to look at a wide variety of curriculum, and connect with others who homeschool. Enrichment staff will be at the conference and you may use your instructional funds to purchase and take home curriculum on the spot.
