December 24-31 Holiday Break, NO SCHOOL

Wellness Wednesday

This quarter we are shifting to our next topic of “Ownership”. The students learned that it’s not what happens to you, but how you respond to it that matters. The holiday season is among us. As adults and caregivers it is important we take ownership of our self care so that we can be ready for how we respond! Below is a great calendar to follow to help guide us through. What days will you give a try?
Big picture

Food Drive: December 1-14

Ownership is not only accepting and learning from mistakes or celebrating successes, it is also demonstrating responsibility for yourself and others. Starting December 1st we are taking ownership of our community. We will be collecting non-perishable food items, paper products and toiletries for local food pantries. For each item donated, students will receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a grade level prize and an overall school prize.
