The WHY behind our service project
State-wide Service Project
Join Indiana FCCLA in collecting pop tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We will be collecting them at the State Leadership Conference. More information about the project will be coming. Bring a total count of your chapter's pop tab.
A few ideas to engage students in the process:
- Give each student a Ziploc to take and home and return with tabs
- Ask your cafeteria, local restaurants, and businesses to allow you to set up a box. All can tabs work
- Use the print outs available here to label bags and boxes for collections https://www.rmhccin.org/get-involved/pop-tabs
We will be submitting our state-wide collection after the conference.

Scholarships
Chapters can donate to the Hurst Scholarship and Jeremy Jackson Scholarship. This is a great opportunity to support FCCLA students in their future education journeys. Quote from a former scholarship recipient and current FCCLA Adviser Kaycee Brannon, "I would love to see our scholarship funds increase. It would be amazing if we could have all chapters donate at least $10. As a past recipient of the Jeremy Jackson, I want to return the support."
So we challenge you to donate $10 dollars or more to our scholarship funds.
