24 Hour Quiet Hours are now in effect! (11/28-12/08)
•We can and will document anyone who is been disruptive
•$25 fine and we can ask you to leave (2x= $25) and 3rd offense you will meet with the Area Coordinator or the Director of Residence Life at 10 am the next morning.
•If you have finished your finals and you are documented for loud noise, you will be asked to leave the halls immediately.
•If you are documented as being loud and have an extension, your extension will be revoked and you will be asked to leave immediately.
Must leave 24 Hours after last exam! Automatic fine $25/hour that you're late!
- Halls Closed: Thursday, December 7th at 2 pm for all Undergrad.
- $25 per hour FINE if you are late checking out!!!!
- Anyone remaining in the halls must have an approved extension or you are within your 24hrs of your last final exam finishing!
If you are changing rooms for the Spring Semester:
If your new room is available for you to move into:
- You must "check-out" of your old room by either doing an express check-out or signing up for a walkthrough through The Village 2017 Fall Final Exam Form.
- You will get new keys to your new room and you will MOVE IN your belongings but not set up your room until your return in the Spring semester.
- Your New Online Inventory will need to be completed upon returning in the Spring semester.
- Once you are done moving in your belongings, you must return your new room keys before leaving.
Expectations of Room Condition when you check out
- The room must be cleaned.
- ALL TRASH must be removed to trash containers in the hallway or trash rooms.
- Power Outage during the break: There are no scheduled power outages during the break. It will be at your discretion to leave your items plugged in.
- Fridges: Remove all perishable items out of the fridge.
- Room must be vacuumed/swept and cleaned.
- Restroom(s) must be cleaned. Everyone is responsible for cleaning their restroom! $25 per person!
- $25 fine for a dirty room that includes the sink.
- PE ONLY: $25 fine per resident for dirty living room/kitchenette space.
- All other university property must be in place in the room
- Check outdoor hanger must be signed and dated
- Turn in your room and mail keys to a staff member!
Extensions: Last day to request an extension: Friday, December 1st at 12pm
- You must fill out The Village Final Exam Google Form in order to request an extension!
- Graduating Seniors: Need to check out of the hall by Sunday, Dec. 10th at 12 pm
- If you are planning to attend graduation but you are not a senior you will need to show me your entrance ticket to graduation.
- If you are part of one of the groups helping with graduation and baccalaureate, you will have an extension depending on your role and we will confirm that you are attending once we received a list from your organization.
- If you are attending LeaderShape, depending on where you live you can be granted an extension.
- If you need an extension because of your flight/bus ticket, you need to submit a copy of your itinerary.
Extensions can be revoked for violating Residence Life and University Policies.
All extensions need to be submitted in writing to your Area Coordinator.
Meal Plan Amounts:
Meal Plan Rattler 5: $1, 662.82+$300.00 Dining Dollars+$137.18=$1,800
All undergraduate residential students MUST take either Rattler 5 or Ratller 7.
Parking on Campus Over the Winter Break:
•If you are planning to leave your car on campus this break, please do the following:
•For safety’s sake, University Police recommend that you park your car in Parking Lot C (near Treadaway Hall.) The lot has video surveillance, as well as being located where officers drive by many times each day.
•If you would like to Park in Lot C for the holidays, please email parking@stmarytx.edu.

Lock-Outs and Work-Orders
Lock-Outs:
If you were locked out in the Fall 17 and have not paid, please do so by Friday, December 08, 2017.
Failure to paid the amount owed will result in a charge to your student account for the total amount plus additional handling fee.
Work-Orders:
•Submit them on-line at Gateway-Campus Life-Live-Residence Life-Related Links- Submit a Work Order
•You will not get charged for the work orders that are considered “normal wear & tear”: such as towel bars loose, shower door off track, sink clogged, door knobs loose, etc.
Big or severe scratches or serious damage to the vinyl planking, are different!!!!
oIt’s too late to put in a work order now. You could/should have put in the work order when the scratch happened.
•Your Online Inventory-completed in August is used as a standard to assess your room.
If there is anything different, deep scratches on the vinyl, holes in wall, scratches on any doors—you will be charged
