U-12 Balboa Dragon Boy's Place 2nd in ADECOP!
Tuesday was a very exciting day. The U-12 boy's ADECOP final was held at Balboa. It was an honor for Balboa Academy to come out and cheer on these mighty dragon's, we all had a great time. We came in second after penalty shots. Great job out on the field Dragons!

Isaac Wright-Muller Most Points Scored!
Coach Hughes & the Athletic Department are thrilled to acknowledge our 6th grader Isaac Wright-Muller for winning "Most Points Scored" in this 2017 ADECOP basketball season against 7 other teams. What an outstanding achievement!
Andres Angrisano Most Steals Award!
Our hats go off to our Dragon U-10 basketball player Andres Angrisano (4th grade) for winning the Most Steals award this Kiwanis U-10 Basketball season out of 14 teams. What a privilege to have such an amazing Dragon player!
AASCA U-18 Boys Tied 3 to 3!
Our AASCA Boys U-18 soccer team are getting ready for Costa Rica in February 2018. After a tied friendly game against the Bulldogs, it is safe to say that this solid team is practicing for perfection. Go Dragons!
Celia Kuriakuz Wins 4 Gold Medals in Guatemala!
Meet our 6th grader, Celia Zuriakuz, who competed in Guatemala representing Panama in the 2017 Central America Gymnastics Championship. She won 4 gold medals (One in beam, one in vault and one in floor and one in team) She made Panamanian history as the youngest gymnast to win a gold medal! Celia, your dedication has made you an amazing athlete, keep it up!
1st Place Winners in the Cinta Costera Race!
Cayuco season has opened with our Dragon paddlers Manuel Posada, Javier Miranda & Jamie Coronado winning first place in the juvenile male category. They never seize to amaze us with their outstanding paddling performances.
Goldner Brothers @ The NAGA World Jiu-Jitsu Grappling Championship in Texas!
Congratulations to the Goldner brothers; Lucas (4th grade), Sebastian (5th grade) & Diego (9th grade) who participated in the World Jiu-Jitsu Grappling Championship in Texas and won 1st place where every kick counted. Warriors in the making!
