Thank You

I would like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Never realized just how important one little finger is and just how much you depend on each one. The surgery did go very well and I go back for a follow up visit in a week. In the meantime, I will be limited. Typing has been not an easy task!

I plan to be back at work this week and I look forward to seeing everyone.

Most Awesome Teacher/Staff Parking Raffle

Every week, I will draw a name and the lucky winner gets their VERY own parking spot for a week. You will be able to park in the spot closest to the front of the school.

This week’s lucky winner is Jody Friz!!!!!!! WhoHoo!!! Congratulations, Jody!

Make someone's day! Write a Heart @ Work slip!

Istation & Think Through Math

We are pleased to announce that Istation Reading has been selected as a provider of Reading for grades 3-5. Think Through Math (TTM) has been selected as the provider for the Texas SUCCESS math resource for grades 3–5, grades 6–8, and Algebra I.

This means that ANY child, regardless of being at-risk or not, can have access to Istation and/or TTM under Texas SUCCESS, as indicated by the TEA announcement dated Friday, December 11, 2015. Each company has received a notice of award and is prepared to begin providing services upon finalization of contracts.

R.O.C.K. Merchandise

In the month of January, teachers, students, parents, and our community have an opportunity to purchase NEW 2016 R.O.C.K. shirts. Please help support our KISD’s Reaching Out with Character and Kindness program by providing campus incentives for faculty members/students who purchase a shirt. In addition, please share with the community our purchasing window for the R.O.C.K. clothing in your campus newsletters and/or marquee. This window is only open till Friday, Jan. 29. A second purchasing window will occur in March. The money raised from shirt purchases will help bring in district guest speakers and provide training to our faculty and community on anti-bullying and anti-harassment efforts.

To purchase a ROCK shirt, visit:

ALSO coming soon…R.O.C.K. merchandise (tumblers, lanyards, pencils, pencils, and much more) will be available for bulk orders. More information will be shared with your campus counselors and PTA representatives this month.

Free Laptops

Please click the link below to fill out a 5 minute survey to help Keller ISD make technology decisions for our district. This is an anonymous survey and will help the district choose the right technology for the classrooms in Keller ISD.

The campus in Keller ISD with the greatest response to the survey gets a laptop cart with 30 Dell laptops. We would love to have these for our students!

Thank you for your time and ideas! The deadline for responding to the survey is January 15.

Our Current Website

Kaye received an email stating that teachers need to back up any SharePoint Teacher Website documents before the Go Live date if they wish to keep them. Those sites will be not be accessible after that time so it is in your best interest to do so ASAP.

This is NOT referring to Edmodo, Canvas, Google, etc. These websites are those SharePoint sites that may or may not have been used by teachers over the last eight years.

You should be able to save any of your documents to your computer, but if you need further instruction please let Kaye know.

Tech 1200

Employees will no longer be able to access Tech 1200 24/7 by phone. The new hours of operation will be 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
