Winter Weather Reminder

Thank you for sending the kiddos into school with warm jackets, gloves, hats and scarves. It's getting chilly out there and they need it during outdoor recess. Just a reminder to practice having them zip themselves up when they put their jacket on. Right around this age is when they should be able to do it independently!

Writer's Workshop

We published our personal narratives today! The kids should be so proud of themselves! It's amazing how far they have come in just a couple months :) We will be starting a new unit where we will be writing opinion pieces about authors and books that we enjoy reading about! Can't wait to get started :)

Reader's Workshop

We started a new unit which the students are so excited about! We picked out just right books & look books to put in our book bins. I will be sending Raz Kids Login info (online leveled readers) next week so be on the look out for that.

Box Tops

Just a friendly reminder that we are always collecting box tops! Send them in to the class and then the class with the most box tops wins a pizza party at the end of the year!
