Thomas Township Winter Wonderland
This years Winter Wonderland will now be 3 nights; December 9th, 10th, and 11th. On the 9th, the park will be lit for drive through viewing only which will cost $10 per car. On the 10th and 11th, the park road will be closed, and hay rides will be offered through the Winter Wonderland displays. Also on the 10th and 11th, there will be a viewing area for the popular Roenicke Lite Show, a bonfire with s’mores, a craft tent, food and beverages, Santa with Buddy the Elf, and something extra magical each night. The cost to enter the Winter Wonderland will be $5 per person and children 5 years and younger will be free.
This year we have 35 spots available to decorate which is more than we had last year. We would love to have you be a part of this fun family event whether it be your household, a classroom, a group of friends, a business, you name it, we need your help. Displays can be as simple as an inflatable with a string of lights along a group of trees or as in depth as life size gingerbread house and golf course - let your creativity shine. You can put up a banner with your company or group name at no charge and show your community support. After your display is set up, we will turn your display on - there is no need to be present on your site for the running of the event. We will even provide the generators, but we just ask that you try and run your lights and displays to one central plug if possible. If you are interested in decorating a site, call the parks office at (989) 781 - 0151 to sign up.
Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you! All funds generated from this event will go towards improving the parks in Thomas Township.
Sincerely,
John W. Corriveau
Director of Parks
