Winter Season Highlights
The WHS boys and girls basketball teams had their Senior Nights on February 18th and February 23rd. A photo from each Senior Night appears below. Also, congratulations to Leah Sylvain! Leah Sylvain, a WHS Junior, scored her 1000th point during the girls' Senior Night game against Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School.
The boys and girls basketball teams play their first MIAA tournament games this week. Please support the girls at home tomorrow, March 1st, at 6:30 PM, where they will play Prospect Hill. Please support the boys at home on Friday, March 4th, at 6:30 PM, where they will play Millis.

Quarter 3 Progress Reports
March MCAS Information
- Tuesday, March 22nd
- Wednesday, March 23rd
Students will begin the MCAS test sessions promptly at 7:30 AM. Tuesday's session is anticipated to last approximately 2.5 hours and Wednesday's session is anticipated to last approximately 2 hours. Please note that MCAS is an untimed test. Students requiring additional time will be provided as much time as needed until the end of the school day.

Yoga Club Information
Good Vibes Only Club
6 Week, Yoga & Meditation Afterschool Group
Week of March 7th - Week of April 11th at Mondays @ 2pm
60 minutes
In this group we will learn different techniques to create positive energy and attract success in all areas of life, including health, finances, and relationships. Using Yoga, Meditation, Breathing Exercises and Sound Healing, we will stretch our body, clear our mind, and calm our nervous system to attract and manifest all that we desire. This is a beginner friendly class, no experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothes, bring your yoga mat if you have one. Meet us in the 1500 common area past the band/chorus rooms.
This group will be led by Sarah Moniz, Owner of Solshine Yoga Studio and mom to a Westport middle schooler. Sarah is a 400 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Meditation Instructor, Reiki Master and Energy Medicine practitioner.

Hello Friends and Families,
Greetings from the Westport Middle-High PTO. We hope everyone is doing well and look forward to seeing you at some of our upcoming events!
We would like to thank our board members, teachers, staff and the amazing volunteers that make the PTO successful!! Together we were able to host the first 5th and 6th grade dance of the year in the new school and it was an amazing experience for the students! The 8th grade DC trip and Semi Formal are also a Go!! We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Mr. Jonathan Bernier for his leadership and work coordinating this trip. We could not do it without him!
As of today, All of our March dances are on HOLD. We are excited to support and cheer on Both of our basketball teams as they continue through to playoffs for the MIAA state tournament. Girls play home on Tuesday 3/1/2022 and the Boys play home on Friday 3/4/2022. We will resume our dances once the tournament is complete.
Please keep in mind that in order to make our dances and fundraisers successful, we NEED your help. We need chaperones and planners for each dance and event. Please volunteer. We can’t continue to offer events for the students and staff without you!!

WAB is currently selling Fundraising Calendars to help fund our scholarship program. Calendars are just $10 each!!! Please email us if interested.
Our big Mattress Fundraising Event is coming up!!! Save the Date: March 26, 2022. Time for a new mattress, new sheets, or new pillows? This event will be set up in the gym of the new Middle-High School. Come check it out! They have a variety of items and prices, financing options will also be available!
We are also looking for new board members and volunteers!!! If you are interested please reach out to us by email or on Facebook. We would love to see you at our next meeting.

March 7th - Good Vibes Yoga Club begins.
March 10th - Early Release for Students for Staff Professional Development. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM. Lunch will not be served.
March 10th - Parent-Teacher Conferences from 2:15-4:15 PM, by appointment.
March 12th - Daylight Savings. Remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour!
March 17th - Show your school spirit by wearing green for St. Patrick's Day!
March 18th through March 20th - Drama Club's Pippin Production
March 22nd and 23rd - ELA MCAS administration
March 25th - Wear green for Cerebral Palsy Day
