Roselawn Update
April 2, 2020
Good Morning Roselawn Families;
I hope this update finds our Roselawn families staying healthy. As we start to come to a close for week 3 of school closure I wanted to share some information.
- Mr. Nelson will be back tomorrow with an end of the week message. However, we are recruiting any families or students that are brave enough to share a video of themselves doing the pledge of allegiance to please email it to skowalski@cwasd.k12.wi.us or text their video to 715-496-2522. We will then use it during our morning or daily morning announcements to Roselawn families.
- This week our Roselawn Landing Page received plenty of activity as families were going there to access Google Classrooms and other grade level information. I encourage families to continue to visit that page for instructional information, and especially those families in grades 4K through 2 can visit different grade levels for online stories and instruction. For example, younger students can check out the great stories on the Kindergarten page read by staff members.
- Families in grades 3 through 5 that might have technology questions can use the following contact information: Please call or email Dom Olson between the hours of 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM at 715-924-3137 Ext. 2096 or dolson@cwasd.k12.wi.us. Families may also use the Roselawn text feature at 715-496-2522.
- Communications - As our classroom teachers and Roselawn staff develop communication connections with students, we will scale down our Roselawn Updates to just weekly. If something changes in regards to our school district year or the current routine we will reach out to families ASAP. I strongly encourage if families have questions in regards to lunches, technology, or anything else in regards to our school closure to please call the Roselawn main number or text 715-496-2522.
Mr. Nelson and I look forward to seeing those families and students who are willing to share with us a video of them reciting the Pledge of Allegiance for our weekly announcements.
We thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this school closure.
We hope to see you soon.
Mr. Nelson and Mr. Kowalski
