2 Year Old Chihuahua Mixes!

Bill and Al are an inseparable matched pair of young sophisticates who are just getting to know about humans and their habits.

These boys came to the shelter as a couple of feral wild guys with an unknown history, unschooled in the ways of people or how people expect dogs to behave.

Since then, they've come a very long way in foster care. Today, they're house- and crate-trained and are walking well on their leashes. They love - and we mean love! - to go for walks. And they like to play together now too.

Bill is a confident and well-mannered boy who likes to lounge on the front porch and watch the world go by. Al is more of a comedian who likes to run in the dog park and with his foster on his leash.

Al and Bill tolerate other dogs in play group and their foster mom's four cats. They also tolerate strokes from their foster mom, but aren't sure about this cuddling thing. They gently take treats from the human's hand, but are still trying to understand why people like to hold and cuddle dogs.

Both like to dig holes in the yard and laze in the cool earth, then bury their rawhide treats.

Bill and Al need and want to be adopted together into a home with people who understand that they're still a little timid. They have made great progress in learning how to make humans happy, and just need continued loving guidance to become the perfect pair of city pooches.
